Our base sequencing package costs $199 and includes a high-resolution, time-stamped genomic fingerprint of your sample at tens of thousands of genetic markers, the ability to trace your batches from seed to sale, and verify the authenticity of consumer products.
Our base package also includes access to your own online informational platform where you can manage your genetic resources, view and download genome reports. Use our portal to upload content such as photos, videos, and links that are viewable to the public anytime someone scans a QR code on your custom packaging.
We are also extremely excited to now be able to offer Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS) through our partners at Lighthouse Genomics, at a price that is many times lower than the competition. Our WGS service is high coverage and will provide data of unparalled depth and quality, for cultivators and breeders that require extremely high levels of information content and reliability.
We promise to work individually, one-on-one with each and every client to make sure that we understand exactly how we can help their operation and try to tailor our analyses and data delivery solutions to fit within their established workflow and distribution network.
We promise to make sure each client understands fully what they're getting and how sequencing their strains will help protect their business against unforeseen loss of intellectual property or crop value. We are in our client's corner if fakes or lawsuits pop up, as is unfortunately sure to happen as this industry evolves.
Our genetic tests will not expire, and by sequencing tens of thousands of markers we ensure that your data will be able to be used to tell strains apart forever. Old technology that just uses a few hundred or thousand markers cannot accurately tell strains apart now, and that data will be badly outdated very soon.
You do! At TruBreed Technologies we break the mold in that our clients own their own genetic data, and we will not sell your data or personal infomation not now or ever. Everyone at TruBreed comes from a background in evolutionary biology or the Cannabis industry or both. None of us are trained in biomedical research or genetic engineering. That means you can trust that we are in this for the love of science and the industry. We have no desire to create transgenic Cannabis and wouldn't even know how to do that if we wanted to.
At TruBreed we don't have lots of investors to pay back. In fact we have none. We started our company in 2015 with $10,000 in cash working three jobs, and to this day remain 100% employee owned and operated.
Our basic sequencing looks at so many genetic markers that we can answer most questions about strain identity to a high degree of precision and repeatibility for our base price of $199.
However, for breeders and cultivators looking to take their operation to the next level or that have very high data requirements, we can now offer high-coverage, fast turnaround WGS for a price that is many times lower than the competition.
